Listening devices (or bugs) prove to be highly effective when conducting certain investigations within the private and corporate sectors. There are very strict privacy laws around the use of bugs which means a thorough assessment must be completed prior to the deployment of such a device. Sentry Investigations conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments prior to all investigations. Failure to satisfy such assessments will prevent the commencement of related investigative services.

Bugs are generally very small in size in order to allow them to be deployed discreetly pretty much anywhere. More often than not, bugs are deployed in office environments for reasons such as industrial espionage, harassment, fraud etc, but they can also be deployed in private residences for things like abuse, child neglect or even for security reasons. We operate with many different types of bug, which gives the client various options to consider. For example, live bugs with small batteries and storage allow for conversations to be listened to in real time by dialling in. Or, a bug with large battery and storage capacities can be deployed for weeks at a time to capture multiple conversations to be listened to at a later date.

Our bug deployments are conducted discreetly, professionally and most importantly, legally. Get in touch with us to find out more about this service.

We don't only deploy listening devices, we search for them as well with our Technical Surveillance Counter Measure (TSCM) services. If you think you have a bug in your office or home, visit our Bug Sweeping page to find out more about what we can do for you.
